Project Overview

I for one love makeup, I started using it at an early age and became accustomed to all the latest products and trends in the industry. I know there are a lot of cool ideas out there for makeup, including cute packaging, collaborations, and overall quality products. Given the competitive market of makeup I wanted to stand out by creating an all new makeup box that is inspired by my favorite dish the Japanese Bento Box. 

A Bento box can come in all different varieties, but I took some of the main similarities in the boxes to create my products. For example, the setting powder would become the “white rice” of the dish and the most important idea was to incorporate the use of Egg in the formula for these makeup products. It may come to a surprise, but egg yolks are rich in fatty acids which can lead to moisture in the skin and helps tighten pores.
